Ferris Wheel at York’s Wild Kingdom
Located in York, Maine is an attraction unlike any other you will see in the state. Situated rather close to the beach is a park called Yorks Wild Kingdom. The thing that separates this from most other zoos is that it is also a theme park. Nearly a quarter of a million people visit York’s Wild Kingdom every year, both locals and tourists.
One of the first things that most visitors are likely to do is visit the animals in the zoo. There are animals that will suit everyone’s tastes. You can visit the reptiles or the primates, the elephants or the lions. Whatever your favorite animal is, you can find probably it here. Visitors are going to want to pay a visit to the gorgeous Rewa as well. She is a very important member of the zoo. She’s the only White Bengal Tiger in Maine.
The amusement park is just as popular as the zoo. There is a Ferris Wheel, bumper cars, and a 90-ft slide as well as an arcade and midway games. You will also find some great food and gift shops so you can pick up a souvenir of your trip. You aren’t going to run out of things to do at the zoo!
