I feel so bad for my dog, the poor guy was running in my dining room and slipped on a cell phone case and took a dive for the curio cabinet . I am an awful parent, he broke his leg and actually had to get stitches in his back because the fall broke the glass on the cabinet and it hit him on the way down . He had to wear a plastic halo around his neck so that he couldn’t lick his stitches or try to bite off his cast with his teeth . Of course the problem then came that my sister put the halo on him incorrectly. The halo is supposed to face outwards like a large collar. That way it blocks him from getting to his paws or legs in order to tear out any stitches. My sister put it on him the opposite way. The halo hung over near his paws and he could reach his mouth over its edge to get at his legs. Needless to say, he tore out his stitches . More than once actually and we had to take him back to the vet to get them put back in and they’d show us how to put the halo on correctly, but my sister thought she knew better. I can’t even tell you how furious I was with my sister after the vets office, she thought she knew better? I bet the brat doesn’t even know how to spell animal!
